Most of the blind individuals residing in Mumbai and suburbs & adjoining districts of Thane & Raigad hail from Below Poverty Line. Most of them are staying in dingy hutments with their families. Many a times they have to face the unforeseen calamities like flooding, Fire, Building collapse, untimely death of a bread-winner etc. At such times, need-based Full/ Partial financial assistance is given to acquire household articles such as cots, mattresses, gas, cupboard, kitchen racks, utensils etc.
- Financial Assistance (2013-2014): Total Assistance of Rs: 53,200/- was disbursed to 25 clients.
- Financial Assistance (2014-2015): Total Assistance of Rs: 59,322/- was disbursed to 28 clients.
- Financial Assistance (2015-2016): Total Assistance of Rs.52,900/- was disbursed to 34 Clients.
- Financial assistance (2016-2017): Total assistance of Rs. 13,400/- was disbursed to 6 clients.
- Financial assistance (2017-2018): Total assistance of Rs. 24,500/- was disbursed to 15 clients.
- Financial assistance (2018-2019): Total assistance of Rs. 20,202/- was distributed to 10 clients.
