Aandhajan Mandal Mumai – Blind Persons’ Association (BPA) had organized one day limited overs cricket Cup for the blind on the occasion of Amrut Mahotsav of the association on Saturday, the 25th March 2023 from 9am to 6pm at BPCL Sports Club Ground, R. C. Marg, Opposite LPG Gate, Chembur, Mumbai 400074. This tournament was inaugurated by Shri. Shrikant Bhat President Rotary Club of Bombay Chembur in the morning . Leading national and international blind cricket players from Mumbai, Thane and Raigad Districts had participated in this tournament. Prize distribution ceremony was held at 4.30 pm immediately after final cricket match in the presence of Guest and Dignitaries. Chief guest Shri. Laxman Kanal President Lions Club of Chembur gave away the prizes to the winners/runners-up and other players. Shri. Santosh Pingle Secretary BPCL Sports Club paid the courtesy visit and encourage participants and organizers . Blind Persons’ Association (BPA) host team and cricket association of the blind Maharashtra (CABM) had also actively participated in this tournament.
